Swim Team Volunteer Parent volunteers play an essential role in supporting the KZY Swim Team by helping create a positive, safe, and organized environment for swimmers, coaches, and families. Volunteers help strengthen our team community, ensure smooth operations at practices and meets, and support fundraising and communication efforts that benefit all athletes. RESPONSIBILITIES • Meet Support: Serve as timers, lane marshals, or officials (training provided); assist with set-up/clean-up; help with hospitality. • Fundraising and Events: Support fundraising initiatives and sponsorship opportunities; help organize team social events, banquets, or recognition activities. • Communication & Coordination: Assist with relaying important team updates; serve as a liaison between coaches, parents, and swimmers when needed.
