The Huber Heights Hurricanes is a competitive swim team for ages 5 to 18 offering high-quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. We are committed to providing an enjoyable swimming experience for swimmers. Teaching children how to be safe around water is not a luxury; it's a necessity. The YMCA's Safety Around Water program can help you make sure they learn the essential water safety skills, which can open up a world of possibilities for them. Safety Around Water is a 4-session course that teaches kids water safety and basic swimming skills that help reduce the risk of drowning and builds confidence in and around water. The week will end with a family swim! With the volume of children expected, our staff needs the assistance of volunteers to help support the teaching of water skills to the children.
