Swim Team Volunteer Parent volunteers play an essential role in supporting the KZY Swim Team by helping create a positive, safe, and organized environment for swimmers, coaches, and families. Volunteers help strengthen our team community, ensure smooth operations at practices and meets, and support fundraising and communication efforts that benefit all athletes. RESPONSIBILITIES • Meet Support: Serve as timers, lane marshals, or officials (training provided); assist with set-up/clean-up; help with hospitality. • Fundraising and Events: Support fundraising initiatives and sponsorship opportunities; help organize team social events, banquets, or recognition activities. • Communication & Coordination: Assist with relaying important team updates; serve as a liaison between coaches, parents, and swimmers when needed. QUALIFICATIONS • Willingness to support the mission and values of the KZY Swim Team. • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset • Dependability and good communication skills • No prior swim experience required (training provided for specific volunteer roles) BENEFITS • Directly contribute to the success and growth of KZY swimmers • Be an active part of a supportive swim community • Learn more about the sport of swimming and meet procedures • Model teamwork and commitment for athletes
